Initiatives
In order to pursue our goal of protecting the natural environmental features that makes the Texas Hill Country special, Sustainable Dripping Springs is involved in a variety of initiatives.
Education
We produce an interactive presentation about the geography and ecology of the Texas Hill Country, the growth in Hays County, and what we as residents can do to maintain the environmental integrity of our our beloved region.
Community Action
We stay up-to-date on current conflicts to environmental sustainability and holding developers and planners accountable for sustainable growth.
Research
SDS conducts various research projects and surveys intended to widen our knowledge of the ecological and geological subtleties of the Hill Country. This information informs the Hays County Roadshow and is otherwise presented to key community leaders.
